Milk and Emily Home - Minneapolis, Minnesota

photo of toilet with the Bristol Stool chart in the background

Today, The Toilets of the World Blog brings you a toilet from Milk and Emily's home in Minneapolis Minnesota.

Don't focus on the toilet, focus on the Bristol Stool Chart in the background. It exists.

In 1997 the Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology decided to publish Dr Ken Heaton's Bristol Stool Chart. For Halloween 2012, Dr Heaton's genius is again realized by Milk Stegeman when he decides to adapt the chart into a costume for laughs. Unlike most Halloween costumes, this one did not end up at the Salvation Army. This one, for quick referencing, ended up next to the toilet.

Here's how Dr Heaton describes the 7 types of stool:

Type 1: Separate hard lumps, like nuts (hard to pass)
Type 2: Sausage-shaped but lumpy (Sausage is food dude...)
Type 3: Like a sausage but with cracks on the surface (Again with the sausage)
Type 4: Like a sausage or snake, smooth and soft (Third time the good doctor mentions sausage when discussing poop. Then also mentions a snake)
Type 5: Soft blobs with clear cut edges
Type 6: Fluffy pieces with ragged edges, a mushy stool
Type 7: Watery, no solid pieces. Entirely liquid

What a magnificent world of poop, nuts, sausages, snakes and fluffy dreams Dr Heaton lived in. A great man indeed. Milk Stegeman, you are great too, you are 7 kinds of shit.

All the best,

--The Toilets of the World Team
