China - Jinghu High-Speed Railway

photo of toilet from Jinghu High-Speed Railway in China

Today, The Toilets of the World Blog brings you a toilet from the Jinghu High-Speed Railway in China.

The Jinghu High-Speed Railway, also know as the Beijing - Shanghai High-Speed Railway, runs along 1302 km of track between Beijing and Shanghai. It completes this journey in under 5 hours. The train runs across 244 bridges and through 22 tunnels including the worlds longest bridge, the 164-km long Danyang–Kunshan Grand bridge. Thank you Wikipedia.

One thing Wikipedia does not tell you is what the toilets on this marvel of a train look like. Luckily team member Paul Murphy took this photo during a recent visit to China. Why is this important? Easy. There are few places on earth where you can pee at 300km/h. This is one of them.

Thank you Paul.
